Your Ceremony
Your ceremony can be as casual or formal as you would like it and I will work with you both to make sure it reflects your relationship and is totally unique.
I will provide you with resource material to give you ideas and inspiration – this includes examples of ceremonies, readings, vows and songs.
If you would like your family or friends to be able to contribute to your ceremony I will work with them to gather some thoughts and include them in the ceremony.
I have received great feedback from couples about how meaningful and unique my ceremonies are and it’s a special thing to be able to contribute to making your day perfect.
After the ceremony I will also give you a copy of your ceremony as a memory of your day – this can be printed on your invitation template or using one of your wedding photos as a background.

Where in New Zealand do you provide Services?
I am based in Auckland, and provide services all around the Auckland region. I have performed ceremonies in Wellington and Tauranga and I can travel anywhere in the country for an extra fee.
What Legalities do we need to cover off before getting married? The Department of Internal Affairs has a guide for preparations to help you marry , you can download the brochure here - Getting Married: a guide for couples preparing to get married in New Zealand.
To get married in New Zealand you must hold a valid marriage licence.
To obtain a marriage licence you will need to complete a “Notice of Intended Marriage” form which can be found on the Department of Internal Affairs (Births, Deaths and Marriages) or clicking on the below link
Notice of Intended Marriage application form Note – you will need to confirm your marriage celebrant prior to completing this form. You will also need to have confirmed the location of your ceremony and a back up plan (secondary venue) in case of bad weather if your ceremony is in an open air setting.
Once you have filled this form out, you will need to go to an office of a Registar of Marriages and sign the statutory declaration before a Registrar, stating you are legally free to marry. You will then have to pay for a marriage licence (this is around $120 NZ).
What is the cost of your service ?
The cost for meeting with you and your fiancé, performing and writing a service, and a rehearsal at your venue would be from $400.00
